This double-sided picket fence is built with a pyramid-cut spindle and two rows of spindles set at different heights, so both sides of the fence show a finished, symmetrical face rather than a back side of rails. The lower spindles can run straight or scalloped, giving some control over the finished silhouette. It's built from clear western red cedar, which naturally resists rot and insects and holds up outdoors without chemical treatment. Rail options include 2x4 cedar or 2x3 cedar dowelled construction, and the fence is available in heights from 3 to 6 feet, with special heights available on request. The double-sided, finished-both-ways construction makes it a strong fit for shared property lines, where neighbors on either side see the same clean face.
